King Stays King.

Some similarities that Romeo and I both share, is that when we we're both younger we both joined a choir in a parish. When I was about 9 years of age or so I recall going to choir in my parish, in St. John Bosco church. I was one of the leaders in my choir groups. Like Romeo, I also really like singing. It's one of the things that I can say that is a daily hobby. I can agree that music plays a big role in everyday life for everybody, and I can say Romeo also agrees with me because that's his life. Music is life.

Lessons that I have learned from Romeo is that you shouldn't give up on what you want to be. You should also dedicate your live to what you really want to be if that's what you really want in life. What I'm trying to say is be dedicated to what you want to be. For example, Romeo wrote his own songs at age 13. He wasn't going after girls like most of the kids at his age were, he was at home writing his own songs. He then made a group that started off small and came out a big success. If you dedicate  your life to it, you can be it. Never give up on your dreams, is what Romeo taught me.

Romeo has played a big role in my life by being the main music I listen to. His music is just a cute thing to listen to. It sets my mood when I'm mad and turns it into a happy mood. I think its because of the beat it is placed in the song, its so upbeat and it gets to me all the time to start dancing. The role Romeo's music is played in my life is it always changes my mood to a good one and even if I'm having a bad day Romeo always manages to have me smiling.

In the future Romeo's music will be important to me because it's what I listen in my childhood, and I'm pretty sure he will be a legend. In the future when i have kids hopefully, I will tell them about Romeo and teach them about him. Romeo will be important in my future because he's the reason why I know bachata. He's the reason why bachata is so popular along with his group Aventura, and I want my kids to know that. I want my kids to know who he is because he played a big role in my life in my childhood. Later on, music will change, different generations will be made, and Romeo will stay the same. King stays king-Romeo.

Mi Santa by Romeo Santos
This song is called Mi Santa by Romeo Santos. This song itself is slow in the beginning and in a few seconds later it turns out a little faster. The instruments you hear in the background in this song are guitar, bongos, the guira, and a bass. These instruments are usually musical instruments you would hear in a bachata song. I personally think these instruments are great in this song, I just like the mixture. In this song, there is another artist but the artist is usually just playing the guitar, his name is Tomatito. This song is part of his first album, Formula, and was nominated as the best video in the billboards.
This song has a meaning to it. This song means the women is his holy. Romeo is asking for the women to believe in him in everything. This song is trying to say that Romeo will do anything for her even if it means selling his soul to the devil for her or giving her his blood and fortune or being an astronaut to fly the moon with her. So in this song he's praying because shes his holy and he believes in God. It also saying that nobody can love her like Romeo does. This song is basically saying Romeo would do anything for this girl he really loves.
When I listen to this song I just want to dance and sing along especially since I know this song. If I'm sitting in a chair listening to this song I usually just move my feet. To be honest I just find every Romeo Santos song very upbeat that makes me always want to dance to a song. I feel like these instruments combined give it a type of flavor that's juicy. Something juicy as in creative, unique, and giving someone or fans what they like. Especially the lyrics are great, I guess you can say that's what every women wants to hear from a guy. A women wants to be sure that they're everything to this man they're with, that they're the one thing men are willing to do whatever just for them. In this song I can feel his desperation of love Romeo has for this women. The mood it creates is a loving, happy mood. This mood is created because the love that's written and spoken can be felt within you, and happy because the beat is upbeat and whenever a song is upbeat is always a time to be joyful, especially if it talks about being someones everything. This song is a type of love deal. The overall effect of the lyrics and music is how Romeo is really loving this girl and is willing to do anything for her because she's everything to him.
What I really like most of this song is the beat that's being used. Meaning the overall musical instruments all blend. I also like the video how it takes parts in the outside and how the dances from the girls are very amazing. Hopefully one day I can learn those type of slow abstract dances. The most thing I really liked about this song is the lyrics and of course Romeo. He's one cute thing out there. (wink) I like the lyrics because I guess I know I personally would love for a man to sing something like that too me. Especially if they're telling me that I'm they're everything and they're willing to do anything for me. That's pretty sweet in my opinion. There's just one thing I dislike about this and it's in the beginning it's kind of pretty slow in my opinion but to most people think it would be fine. For the most part its one of my favorite songs.

Here's a live video of Romeo performing Mi Santa in Chicago.

Over the years after breaking up with Avenutra, in the years of 2011-2012, Romeo Santos has accomplished an album of his own as a soloist with one album called "Formula".  He writes his own songs and not only has songs of bachata but also, r&b, up tempo, and also fusion to delight his fans. Today, he is considered as a lady's man and when he is seen women go crazy over him. Romeo Santos has been dominated for a lot of awards. He lead 11 nominations in Premios Juventud, a Hispanic youth award ceremony, for the 2012 Premios Juventud.

Romeo conquered the number 1 spot in the billboards with his top hit song "La Diabla". In this year of 2012 Romeo has won Billboards Music Awards, for the category of top Latin album "Formula". He also go nominated in the Billboard Music Awards for the top Latin music for "Promise". Another award in the Billboards he was awarded was for the top Latin artist. Romeo is currently not noted for any non-musical activities. I hope one day he can help the kids in cancer. It would mean a lot to them because Romeo is a type of guy who you would want to meet. But one thing he did was trying to reach out to Latinos who can vote to vote for the upcoming election.

Anthony Romeo Santos  was born in the Bronx, New York on July 21st, 1981 from a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. At age 13 he started writing his first songs unlike other boys of his age. His idol growing up was Antony "El Mayimbo". Antony was a Dominican batchata artist, that came in the early 1990's. He is currently the most paid arist from the Dominican Republic to sing bachata songs.  At age 12, Romeo joined a choir in his church and later made a group of his own with his family relatives including his cousin, Henry. Aventura was a bachata band group from the Bronx, New York. Aventura was formed in 1994 by 4 memebers which where, Lenny Santos, Max Santos, Henry Santos, and of course Romeo Santos. Over the past years they sold over 1 million albums. Their biggest break up was in 1999, and came back together. This group was known across the country as K.O.B. (king of bachata) Each memeber in the group had their own role, Romeo's role was composer, main lead singer, and the song writer. A few  years later they broke up, leaving 6 studio albums and 3 live albums. This band group is legendary and will always be King Of Bachata. Thanks to this success, it helped Romeo become a solist and sell his first album "formula". Today Romeo is one of the top bachata artist to be listened besides Prince Royce.
